Christmas Abuse

I saw this sorry excuse for Christmas display storage hidden around the back of a Bed Bath and Beyond Store in Conroe, Texas. Here lies a graveyard for forgotten Christmas cheer and Holiday Spirit as the world lugs along until all that joy comes upon us yet again.

The sin isnt in that these Holy Angels were carelessly dumped around the back of the store; some fallen from the wind.... others toppled from nefarious shopping cart abuse... everything has to be somewhere right? The real crime here is that these bastions of good tidings are left in plain view of a major freeway. These reminders can be seen all those 350 or so odd days we arent celebrating the birth of our Lord, and awaiting Santa and hi reindeer. I suppose these images have evoked countless question as to who could have been so careless or invoke a childs mind to even contemplate doubt as to Santas existence, or even worse, to remind one that the shopping bills are still being paid from the previous year.

One can only hope that a mover and shaker type management professional would one day rescue these fallen heroes of the yuletide and restore the Holidays to their former glory.

quick commie survery w/mind control

pick any American and ask him the 4 question
do you know who stalin is?
do you know who lennin is?
do yo uknow who karl marx is?
do you know who hitler is?

all i ever get is
no
no
no
duh...... he killed all the jews.

my point is that it seems through a combo of controlled education and controlled media the only thing an american really knows is adolf hitler and what occurred in some of his prison camps never mind the technology, strategies, or philosophy behind world war 2 and the resulting 40+ yr communist cold war that resulted from it. this is the essence of mind control.. that one single group of people can implant their struggle upon the whole of the american people for their benefit alone to the exclusion of anything else. if there is one man who we must go through life (who dead by the way) who we must hate without any intimate knowledge it adolf hitler... even if it we find ourselves broke, disables, and homeless there will always be comfort that we can achieve some sort of hope that we are good through through mutual dislike of this one person.

this isnt a HATE??? post its just a reminder of the symptoms of mind control hat the common man can visualize even if they dont understand its mechanisms. through this understanding we may lay the foundations for resistance to brianwashing and truly be free.

RoCK iS DeaD

I went to a Roger Waters concert last weekend and he is still playing the same old stuff he wrote back in the 70's. I didnt mind hearing it again but these aging rockers seem to be living off of pure nostalgia now. Rolling Stones, Styx, even Led Zeppelin continue to hammer out the same repitoir that can be heard at any time on any classic music station anywhere in the USA. Its not that these folks are unable to write new material, its just that they know the public is starved for talented showmanship and inspired songwriting that only these well traveled musicians are able to supply. The one hit wonders and cutie pie rockers that the children of the 90's and 00's have grown accustomed to are a shoddy substitution for anything that could be considered entertainment. They get pretty young boys to play simple compositions on contemporary instruments with absolutely no instumental innovation whatsoever. But thats ok because the overemphasis of the lyrics and peotic structure (supposedly) makes up for it. These kids make one or 2 hits then disappear into the scenery only to be supplanted by the next carbon copy wityh all its rock nostalgia rhetoric. Not even so much as a guitar solo or drum take-it-away. I just hope to live long enough to see what becomes of classic rock inthe future.

CooL

Just out of sheer boredom i looked up the meaning of the word cool and it seems a lot of research has gone into this concept. The common definition i have come across is the wikipedia definition:

"... It has associations of composure and self-control..."

i hope to have more posts on this subject as i have come to believe that "cool" is more of a marketing and mind control technique.

Popular modern entertainment relies heavily on the use of electricity, computers, and electronics. In the days before electricity, singers were selected for their ability to project, actors for their stage ability, musical instruments for their audibility, and newspapers and magazines for their sentence structure, diction and clarity....... all without the use of electronic assistance or special effect enhancements.

Lets see a comparison of low tech vs high tech

  • MOVIES - Movies used to be an extension or in some cases a replacement for a stage performance. Now acting and scripting have been substituted by computer generated effects and artistic prose substituted by popular social issues.
  • MUSIC - It seems that the great instruments of the past that required no electrical amplification (violin, trumpet, mandolin etc...) have been replaced in popular music by completely virtual and sometimes nonexistent conceptual instrumentation (deep bass, synthesizer, sampling). Also, lyrics seem to fill in for skilled and complicated instrumentation works.
  • MAGAZINES AND NEWSPAPERS - Niche social issues and minority groups often have precedence over more important and relevant issues. Photographs are also use to illustrate and highlight stories where once only words were utilized. Internet and all of its applications and interactivity are even now replacing the plain white printed paper of the past.

Its just the opinion of this author (daddyhuey) that we have grown addicted to an eclectically enhanced entertainment palette that would suffer seriously if someone were ever to pull the plug and the proverbial rug out from under it.
